Aurora Aragon Quezon Elementary School (AAQES) located in San Andres St. Malate Manila, NCR, Fifth District is one of the best performing public elementary schools in the country. With its numerous achievements and awards, truly it is where excellence is a lifestyle. It is committed in delivering quality education with values and competencies that enable the pupils acquire their full capacity and contribute meaningfully to the nation. It provides a child-friendly and safe environment where teachers facilitate learning and nurture every learner. Our school

Built in 1904 on San Andres Street, Malate, Manila, Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School as it is known today, was originally called San Andres Primary School. It became a complete elementary school in 1926.
 
Resolution No. 426 approved by the Municipal Board on September 28, 1951 changed the name San Andres Elementary School to Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School in honor of DoÒa Aurora Aragon Quezon, former First Lady of the Philippines during the Commonwealth period and Mother of the Philippine National Red Cross.
 
The school accepts clientele from Kindergarten to Grade VI and out-of-school youth in its Alternative Learning System (ALS) classes.
In 1996, special classes were added in its family with two classes each for the mentally gifted and children with special needs.
 
The pupils benefit from both academic and co-curricular activities like scouting, performing arts, journalism and computer literacy to name a few.
